In Andhra Pradesh, it is mainly cultivated in the Krishna, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasham and Twin Godavari districts.
In Karnataka, it is mainly cultivated in the Raichur, Koppal and Bellary, Belagavi districts.
